Forget about boring history tours, the best way to learn about a city is through the modern art of its people. Join me on an alternative adventure that will open your eyes and change the way you look at Mongolia’s capital city. We’ll start the tour with a quick coffee at one of my favorite coffee shops in the city before heading off for the city’s most popular bridge for street artists to leave their mark. All along the way I’ll tell you about the city and answer any questions you might have about Mongolia’s fascinating capital. After our first stop and your first glimpse into Mongolia’s street art scene, we’ll jump in a car and head off to see more of the city’s most beautiful murals. Ulaanbaatar’s street artists are doing some incredible things around the city, creating larger than life murals that not only pay homage and respect to Mongolian culture, but murals that also really give you a sense of place. All along the tour I’ll help you snap photos of each piece – I love seeing travelers capture (and pose with!) these incredible works of art and share them with their friends and family around the world. Since this tour is only 2.5 hours, it’s a great way to jump right into Mongolian life and experience a side of the country that you might have never expected to find.
