I am the chef Andrea, I was born in Tuscany but I live in Turin. With me you will become a true master in homemade pasta. In this experience you will sink your hands in all the dough, cut the dough with a knife and sauté the pasta in the pan as you do in the best Italian tradition. Together we will make traditional piedmont tajarin and agnolotti, tipical tuscan tortelli and pici. Under my guide you will prepare all kinds of pasta, learning the secrets of the best condiments for your fresh pasta recipes. Hi, I'm Andrea, a professional cook and cooking teacher. My passion for cooking was transmitted to me by my uncle, an engineer but a cook in the soul and gourmet without boundaries. In my life I did many things, but in the end I came to my great passion, the kitchen. I cooked in Moscow, in France as a private chef, in restaurants in Tuscany, Marche and Sicily. In the last few years, in Florence, I worked as a cooking teacher in a private university. I love Italian cuisine, but above all I love cooking.

Great experience! We spent the night making pasta and learning cooking techniques we will use for a long time. Andrea was a wonderful teacher, patient and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this experience!

Andrea really knows what he is doing. He knows about his food, his culture and traditions which makes it even more of an authentic experience. He was very kind and helpful, patient towards my slowness and was very insightful. He explained everything with why it is the way it is and how I can become better. I highly recommend this experience. It was very fulfilling both for the pleasure and the stomach!

I’ve never taken a cooking class before and I don’t have a ton of practical skill when it comes to cooking in general. This experience was the best possible introduction for me but someone that actually knows their way around a kitchen would get the exact same value out of the experience (if not more). Andrea taught many techniques but above all else his passion for the ingredients showed in the final product. Every single ingredient Andrea sources from local farmers, butchers, cheese makers (Turin is known for their world class farmers markets) or grows himself in his garden. You’ll hand-make 4 different types of pasta that are all mouthwateringly delicious and wash down the fruits of your labor with a bodacious red wine. I can honestly say this is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with food. If you’ve ever in your life had a desire to make handmade pasta in Italy with an accomplished and passionate Italian chef, this is for you. Just do it, you won’t regret this one of a kind experience with Andrea!

Thanks to Andrea, we spent some quality time Learning to Cook pasta - and other great dishes. Hopefully I'll make half as good pasta in no time thanks to his lesson !
