We will be going around the town of Stratford-upon-Avon at a leisurely pace, exploring the different points of interest in the town, both old and new. As it is a very historic town, prepare to be transported back to Tudor times and dabble in a little bit of theatre and wonder! We will start the tour from Stratford-upon-Avon train station and make our way to Shakespeare's birthplace through Mansell street where I shall explain a little bit about the history of the industrial revolution as we will be walking across a row of Victorian-style houses. Then we will make our way to henley street where Shakespeare's birthplace is located and I shall explain the relevance of this street and its history. We take a left at Meer street and head towards the clock tower then make our way through Belle court then come out at hight street. From here we make our way towards the bank and explain the history of the points of interest in this area followed by a quick snack break in a cafe of the customer's choosing. We then make our way towards Shakespeare's new place and Shakespeare's​ guildhall​ followed by making our way down Chapel Lane​ towards the Royal Shakespeare's​ theatre. We finish by making our way towards the holy trinity church where Shakespeare​ is laid to rest along with his family. If time allows it, we can also make our way to halls croft as it is very close by.
