Hi, I'm Kazue. I have always been crafty, even as a kid, and still am as a mother of two. I do sewing, knitting, embroidering, DIY etc. Right now I am crazy about doing SASHIKO(Japanese folk embroidery) and hosting SASHIKO workshops in Kyoto. If you are a crafty person like me, you may already know that Japan is the best place to buy various fabric! And Kyoto is one of the cities worth visiting as of various craft shops (from big modern ones to small traditional ones) within a stone's throw. I'm gonna take you to the deep, local craft stores in the ancient labylinth built almost 1,400 years ago. Search for #craftstorehoppingtour on instagram to see more about my tour!

Her skal du være
After meeting around Shijyo Kawaramachi area, we'll start hopping craft stores according to the special tour plan for you. Just let me know what is your interest about beforehand for the time efficient tour. Due to the monolingual society, I know the difficulty to find the particular materials or supplies in Japan. I also know that most of the shop clerks of the small shops in Japan can not deal with English. Don't worry. I will help you.
