I am an activist of Human Rights and an advocate of maintainning the history of the resistance to the dictatorship of Pinochet. I do live in a Cultural Center, the oldest in Chile; Taller Sol, where this experience will take place. We do neighborhood and grassroots type of work. We are self supported and we are looking forward to having more visitors. We will go through a fine selection of graphic work realized under dictatorship. As we go through them the history of the struggle unfolds. This is not mass media neither the official story. The years around this archive had given me a level of expertise. The director of the center is one of the artists depicted in the posters. So whenever I have a question I go straight to the source. Having grown up around this political propaganda I can share the feeling and emotion of yesteryears...

The archives are an incredible place with a perspective on Chilean history that you won't see anywhere else. It's one thing to see protest art on the street and another to take a look at it through the eyes of its creator and hear the stories that brought it out onto the streets. Roger and Antonio were some of the coolest guys we've met, ever.

Antonio and Roger were some of the most interesting people we met in Santiago. They were passionate, knowledgeable, and kept it real. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to learn more about Chilean politics and the history of resistance during and after Pinochet.

This was a wonderful and unique experience that gives you a broad overview on the history of graphic arts in the city. The host made me feel very welcomed and offered some great background and conversation. I recommend asking a lot of questions and not just viewing the collection solo. There's so much in this archive and the experience will serve you best to have them walk you through everything you're seeing.

This is a truly unique experience - if you know anything about the history of Chile, particularly in the 20th century, and into the 21st, you know that the Chilean people have dealt with a lot of repression and plutocracy with verve and panache. This Archive is proof of that verve, panache, and dedication to gaining real democracy against fierce odds. I could have stayed all day, working my way around the books and posters and artifacts gathered over the years that activist and artist Antonio Kadima has been pushing for freedom and democracy in the streets of Santiago. That the people were rising again, across Chile, while I was there made this visit to the Archive particularly high impact. Truly a terrific experience, highly recommended.
