Det skal I lave
Join me on a photo-walk around this beautiful UNESCO world heritage city, taking in some of my favourite hidden spots along the way. I am happy to share a little of the 'other' history of Bath as we look for the photo images that you want to capture and keep. You will see many of the city's landmarks from a different perspective as we stroll along paths and lanes that are inaccessible to traffic. We start near Pulteney Bridge and explore the bridge and the unseen side of Great Pulteney Street. From here we will stroll along the riverside path with views of the weir, the Abbey and Parade Gardens, passing the railway station and back towards the city. There's plenty of opportunity to stop and capture images of the city from a different perspective and I am happy to offer tips and advice if required. Crossing the city you will see the industrial history unfold before you. We can explore the impact of coal, canals and Brunel's Great Western Railway. Our walk crosses Queens Square and takes in the Royal Crescent before ending at the Circus. As we turn back towards the centre I will be happy to suggest other places you might like to visit (cafe's, pub's and restaurants).
NOTE - Autumn/Winter update - As summer moves into Autumn the colours around the city blend beautifully. The crowds are gone (well most of them) and you have a chance to see Bath at it's very best. Every tour will show you a different side of this beautiful city! Hi I'm Paul. All my life has been spent living in and around Bath, I even learned to swim in the steaming waters of the Cross Baths (back in the day). I'm a commercial photographer with 35 years in the industry and a passion for sharing my knowledge and experience. I split my time between commercial projects and training for all levels of photographer. This will be a fun, relaxed walk around the city as we explore a few of my favourite locations and a little of the hidden history. I am happy to help you find images of the city from a slightly different perspective.
