In this hands on, practical and fun fermented foods workshop you will learn all about the benefits of eating fermented foods and have a go at making your own kimchi and sauerkraut to take home with you. You will be given some fermented foods samples to take home with you so you can start off your own collection of healthy probiotic foods to use at home. - Brief introduction to the history of fermented foods and the health benefits of eating fermented foods for your metabolism, microbiome and immune system. - Have fun making your own sauerkraut & kimchi to take home with you, choosing from a wide selection of fresh, locally sourced, organic produce. - Demonstration of how to make a variety of fermented drinks and yoghurts so you can make them at home. - Taste a variety of water kefirs and kombuchas, milk kefir, coconut kefir, coconut yoghurt and Caspian Sea Matsoni yoghurt. - Take home full instructions to start your own fermented foods collection at home. - You will be given a kombucha SCOBY to make your own kombucha, water kefir grains, milk kefir grains, coconut yoghurt starter and Caspian Sea Matsoni yoghurt starter to ferment at home.

You will have lots of fun making your own sauerkraut & kimchi to take home, tasting a variety of kefirs, kombuchas, coconut yoghurts and Caspian Sea Matsoni yoghurt. Our workshops are hosted in our fully equipped kitchen. We offer tea, herbal teas, coffee and fruit infused water during the workshop. In the summer on sunny days we hold our fermented foods workshops out in the garden. You will have the chance to ask questions during the workshop and afterwards by email. We also have a private fermented foods Facebook group where we post daily recipes, videos and blogs and you can post and ask questions too.
