Det skal I lave
Only an hour away from Sydney, you will swim at deserted beaches, bush walk to stunning outlooks and discover Aboriginal art and engravings carved in rocks with a small tour group. Meeting at our marina location, about an hour outside Sydney, we will drive you approximately 30 minutes to Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park at the West Head Outlook and begin our adventure with a 2 hour bushwalk on park trails to a secluded beach where our kayaks are waiting. Along our bush walk, we will learn about Aboriginal culture, early Australian history and observe seasonal wildlife and bushland. Led by our experienced guides, we will begin our paddle along the coast and explore areas like Resolute Beach, Lovett Bay and Scotland Island, accessible only by water. Look for fairy penguins, goannas, galahs, cockatoos and wallabies calling Pittwater home among the gumtrees of this Australian national park. Double sit on top kayaks are provided and guests must be able to kayak for about 5 hours but we do take breaks! Morning tea & lunch is served picnic style on beaches along the western foreshore of the national park. At the end of our adventure, tired and happy, we return back to our marina location and our guests depart back to their lives with a cherished experience.

Phil & Helen are passionate paddlers, local Northern Beaches residents and small business owner of Paddlecraft. As self described “environmental guardians of Pittwater” and an Eco Pass Operator in the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, our philosophy is, by getting more visitors out on the water and in the national park, we can all raise our awareness of our place in nature and participate in authentic nature based experiences that teach and inspire.
