Det skal I lave

You will arrive at the beach ready to workout in a way you never have before. I like to start out with a nice challenging burpee warmup and then stretch out to make sure we are safe to perform all the movements I will ask you to do. Following warmup, we are going to do 25 minutes of HIIT games, yes I did say games. This will get your heart rate up and work on both endurance and strength. All strength exercises will be with bodyweight so that all of the exercises you learn you can do on your own at home. A few examples of what we will do for the HIIT portion are mountain climbers, pushups, etc. and we might get creative with what we use to help us perform these exercises (for example, a log). We will make some of these exercises a relay and or race between athletes which makes it super fun! Once this portion of the workout is complete I want to dedicate the next bit of time to gymnastics. My unusual strength comes from these core gymnastics movements that require strength in muscles hard to hit in a gym. I will teach the correct form for handstands, cartwheels, and backflips. Once you learn these you can do much more fun workouts. You can progress at your own individual pace and I am comfortable spotting anyone who needs it. The workout will end with some light stretching and a dip in the lake.

Hola amigos! My name is Allison and I am a fitness fanatic. I have been a competitive gymnast for 13 years, a college cheerleader, and avid gym-goer. These sports have helped me maintain a very fit, muscular, and toned body, and I love teaching others fun exercises that promote good health and wellbeing. I have coached gymnastics classes for several years, lead Zumba classes at my school, and I am all of my friends go to workout partner. I have a lot of experience in attending fitness classes. I have learned what an instructor can do to best motivate, encourage, and aid others in achieving their fitness goal while most importantly making it FUN.
