After moving to Cornwall 6 years ago I became fascinated with Cornish social history. Then I learnt that some of the willow in our garden had been planted for lobster pot and basket weaving. This set me on a path to learn more. After attending willow weaving courses and studying this traditional skill I fell in love with everything willow. I am passionate about willow and have a background in teaching and art so you could say I fell into holding workshops. The workshops have been running for over a year in the pretty village of Coverack, using willow from my garden as well as the Somerset levels.
