In this 3-hour class, you will learn the basic principles of brewing coffee manually. We will learn about coffee brewing in both the theoretical and practical aspects. In particular, we will cover the following together:

1) Understanding the concept of brewing and brew rations
2) Learning how to taste over- and under-extractions and how to avoid them in brewing
3) Mastering various brewing devices
4) Opting for the right coffee, equipment and accessories that fit your budget at home or at work
5) Choosing the right grind setting for your brewing device
6) Practicing and perfecting the techniques required for successful brewing
7) Taste and distinguish from coffees to coffees
8) Learning how to identify a good cup of coffee when ordering coffee in coffeeshops
