We'll navigate the neighborhood like locals, learning the remarkable history of the area. Finally, our tour will conclude in the St. George Ferry Terminal. Throughout this tour, you'll learn the ins and outs of Staten Island from the perspective of a local. I'll share some the best kept secrets of the Island and you'll have a chance to interact with many locals along the way.

As a native to Staten Island and a licensed NYC tour guide, I will provide a wealth of knowledge ranging from history, culture, music, and nature. When forming this company, I saw it as my love letter to the borough that has been overlooked for far too long. Through our tours, guests will be exposed to one of New York's best kept secrets.

Ben was knowledgeable and gave a great tour of the area of Staten Island. He talked about the recent economic growth in the area and the 9/11 memorial was beautiful and moving. He even added personal stories when appropriate and it added a unique personal touch that I wasn’t expecting! It was an excellent experience!!

Ben, a lifelong Staten Islander, eagerly presents this tour. His passion for where he grew up and his boundless knowledge are truly present in his walking tour presentation. His friendly demeanor makes you feel like you are walking around with a knowledgeable, old friend. I highly recommend this tour to get to know Staten Island and its’ culture better.

Amazing tour. Ben was easy to find at the terminal and was super friendly and knowledgeable. He really knows the area and showed us some interesting spots to eat and a cool comic book shop. Learning about the 9/11 memorial and the first responders was really touching. Overall an excellent experience.

I'm so happy I took this tour! I got off the ferry and found Ben easily in the terminal. My biggest concern was safety going into this, and I was thankful that Ben and everyone on the tour had masks and we were outside for the duration of the tour. The tour itself was really fascinating. From nearly every part of our walk, we had incredible views of Manhattan, which was great for photos. I learned a ton about not only the landmarks near the ferry, but also Staten Island as a whole. Ben is born and raised there, so he shared a first hand experience, plus was very knowledgeable on the history, too. My favorite part was the 9/11 Postcards memorial. It was breathtaking and moving, and to hear Ben's personal story alongside it was very touching. It felt like I had insight to a very "NYC-insider experience". The tour was small, only 4 of us, plus Ben, and everyone was friendly, even though we were socially distanced and in masks. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to learn more about a place that's often overlooked. It wasn't too long, and there was plenty of rec's for things to do post-tour. Grab lunch, go shopping, or keep sightseeing.

This was a great experience for me. I've lived in NYC my entire life but I decided to take this tour since i know so little about Staten Island and it was something to do. I've been to Staten Island before but this experience made it feel like a completely different place overall! Love that Ben was a SI Native. Worth the visit!

Ben did an amazing job of showing me Staten Island! I grew up in New York City and Westchester but had never really made my way to this borough. Ben was easy to find at the ferry, and from the start he was personable and friendly. Throughout the tour he showed us local cultural standouts among the restaurants and small business, and I really felt like he was steeped in the history of the island. I would absolutely recommend!
