You will be a ramen chef at this four-hour event. You will learn how to make either Tonkotsu pork bone broth or vegetarian/vegan broth, soft boiled eggs, Chashu meat, spicy and Shoyu or Miso seasonings. You will also experience making the chewy thick noodles from scratch. This experience includes gyoza appetizer as well as your own delicious bowl of ramen at the end. During the class, we will discuss origins of ramen and give you tips in how to buy ingredients and re-create making ramen at your own home. We encourage asking as many questions as you want.
I'm a former techie but I've always been passionate about food and connecting people through cooking. Ramen and noodles are my ultimate comfort food. I spent quite some time studying at the International Ramen School in Yokohama, Japan. When I returned, I decided to create an intimate experience to teach my guests how to make a perfect bowl of ramen. These days, our business teaches close to 1,200 guests per month how to make ramen.
