Om din vært

I am born and raised in Mochudi, Kgatleng District, Botswana. I explored many areas within my home village and experienced these areas first hand. Moreover, I have on several occasions taken my expatriates friends and colleagues on a dry run tours to the areas in order to familiarise myself with giving people an experience and also horn my tour guiding skills.

Firstly, briefly explain the history of the Bakgatla tribe, visit the kgotla ( tribal administration) and tour Phuthadikobo museum. Drive up the Phaphane Hill and enjoy an aerial view of Mochudi village. Tour the Matsieng footprints (mystical folk character) and return to Mochudi to a popular braaing spot. Mochudi (formed in 15th century), originally home of the Bakwena tribe is named after Kgabo's son, Motshodi. Phuthadikobo museum stands on a hill of the same name, means "gather your blankets". The museum holds a number of fascinating photographs donated by Prof. Isaac Schaper, the world renowned anthropologist. Matsieng footprints is home of the first ancestor, Matsieng, a giant, one legged man who left engravings of his footprints behind.
