A lovely, traditional Welsh-stone terraced cottage - called Maesyffynon - combines modern, boutique facilities with original 19th century features. The property is superbly located in the delightful town of Dolgellau, situated between the mountains and the sea. Dolgellau sits in the south of Snowdonia National Park, in the shadow of the Cader Idris mountain range but, at the same time, is just 8 miles from the sea . Great for walkers and hikers, but also for families wanting outdoor experiences.
Gorgeous grade II listed cottage in the heart of Dolgellau, Snowdonia. Set in a peaceful location by the river, the cottage is rustic and cosy, with luxurious touches to make your stay as special as possible.
Fairbourne is a quiet seaside village; the Wales coastal path goes right by our front door, and the area is ideal for walking, biking, seafishing and watching the glorious sunsets over Cardigan Bay. We are just outside of the Snowdonia national park, and the village has rail and bus links making it an ideal spot to explore from. The house has a large conservatory with views of Cader Idris, where guests can sit in comfort and watch the weather. Basic breakfast food, tea and coffee are provided.
